Here at EJ Timber, we only use prime-grade solid Ash hardwood planks, kiln-dried with 8-12% moisture in them, ready to be worked with. Wider than 220mm boards will be biscuit joined with other matching boards assuring the closest possible matching look and texture, and glued, to achieve stability, and avoid future bending. The number of jointed boards will depend on the required width. Wood plank then will be sanded to 180 grit – ready to take a finishing product of your choice. The wood plank will be machined to all square edges, however, if you require rounded edges, please contact us, and let us know.
